Dafne Hotel

location

noise from street, weak breakfast, weak wifi speed

Very clean

Lack of facilities, i.e. bar, pool, gym.

The AC was not working, it was crazy hot. We were three people in the room and apparently they had only 2 beds and the additional one was added making the room super small. Super hard to breath.

Location

Staff, customer service bad. There was hair on the sheet. Not clean.

The hotel staff were very friendly. They cleaned the room perfectly. It was clean.

The water pressure in bathroom was not good. The breakfast was not good at all and below our expectations. No warm breakfast. Tne room view was a car garage which was not nice. It was far from city centre however the neighborhood was nice.

A nice humble hotel on the outskirts of Ankara. responsive staff, clean rooms, fresh breakfasts. All rexommendations

Generally, it´s good value for a short (business-)trip without too many expectations

Besides the offered breakfast, at least some kind of bar/restaurant in the evening would be appreciated, especially since there´s is nothing available in the near surrounding.

Breakfast was excellent - buffet service so you could pick and choose and eat as much as you wanted. I'm a vegetarian and they had a variety of tasty cheeses, and fresh salad veggies (tomatoes, cucumber, peppers) plus cooked aubergine, sun dried tomatoes and paprika sprinkled boiled eggs to keep me more than happy. Reception staff arranged taxis for me very helpfully whenever I needed them and also directed me to the food hall of a nearby mall (a short walk away) for evening meals. They supplied an iron for my room when I needed to press a shirt and some trousers for a work presentation the following day. In short, I strongly recommend the Dafne hotel for those travelling for work. It was close to the Middle East Technical University, too, where I was attending an English teaching conference! The room was clean and had tea and coffee and a kettle for DIY refreshments, and the bed and room were beautifully made up each day! The walk-in shower in the bathroom was great. The staff were very friendly, too.

I liked everything about the place. They didn't have room service in the evenings but the Taurus mall, which was a five minute walk away, had a great food court and a wide selection of cafés, so I didn't go hungry at night!

rooms were clean. bathroom also very clean. quick check-in process. wifi was sufficient. beds were comfortable. provided tea/coffee with kettle in the room.

outside window not silent. could hear the street. breakfast did not provide any juices. not enough good hot foods. coffee machine did not taste good.

The cleanliness

Very hot rooms with bad old AC system and with temp outside reach 40.! They give us 2 smoking rooms although we didn't ask for it! Then we asked to change the rooms. and they did

The staff were professional and the room clean and cleaned daily. Plenty of room for everything I brought. The breakfast was excellent, with a nice room and a wide variety of food and drink. The views of the city and garden area were a nice bonus. The hotel was quite quiet with only occasional noise from outside. Street parking was enough. The surrounding mall and neighborhood areas were interesting and could be reached by a 10-minute walk.

The closet could have used a few more hangers. The shower was hot, although I couldn't figure out how to use the overhead option. The temperature was quite warm and I don't think it could be adjusted, but opening the window cooled things off some.

Quiet and peaceful. It was clean.

Air-conditioning needs work and it's barley working at all. I just let the window open.Internet is slow and more than often it loses connectivity and you see lot of jittering and hiccups on connecion to the point of frustration.Kitchen closes at 15 and you don't even have access to microwave.

The staff was friendly and the location of the hotel was good.

Our room and corridors smelled of cigarettes. Breakfast was a disaster, food quality was extremely poor and the selections were actually the leftovers from their restaurant.

it was very close to shopping malls, VASF canada and vary friendly staff. rooms and washrooms were clean, hotel is not new but valuable for the cost

breakfast

the room is shown as 28m2, but it was very small, perhaps half

I went to Ankara for my Biometrics and it is very important for me that my hotel locate near VFS Global to be able to walk there. It was almost 5 minutes walk to the VFS Global and it reduced my stress. Besides, the hotel was 4 km from Bus Terminal and shopping Centers.

What I did not like the most is difficulty of the staff in understanding English, however, that is the problem every where in Ankara.

Nice hotel.Big rooms. The prices are very reasonable. The breakfast was medium rate.Near to Taurus Center, 5 minutes walk.

I like the price.

The breakfast was excellent, diverse and tasty.

Room needs more deep cleaning of furniture surfaces.

The hotel was good enough and the staffs were kind and ready for help. The breakfast was great.

The Internet in the room has sometimes a series difficulties on connections to internet .

Very poor

there was smiles in wc and the staff can’t speaking English . expensive for one suites room 1200 Turkish lira . location far from centrum
